National Center for Education Statistics Federal government site that provides statistics in all areas of education. Grade levels include k-12 and college and university statistics.

ChildStats database gives statistics about children and families. Includes data on demographics, socio-economic, health and safety.

Kidsdata offers more than 250 indicators on the health and well being of children. The website provides summaries of data for the hundreds of cities and school districts in the Bay Area.

Interlibrary Loan

If Lyman Beecher Brooks does not own an item you need for research, teaching or study, you may request it through the Interlibrary Loan service. This free service allows user to borrow materials from other libraries and pick them up at the first-floor circulation desk.

Users may request the following items:

  • Books
  • Articles
  • DVDs and other movies
  • Dissertations

To Make Requests

To request an item to be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, you must log onto the Illiad service. First time users must create an account. To do so, please click on "First Time User" link.

After requesting an item, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also be notified when the material(s) arrive at LBB Library and can be picked up.
