3D Printers are HOT, so please use them with caution; 3D printers heat in excess of 215*C. 3D printing is at your own risk! If anything goes wrong with the machine during printing, please alert staff immediately and do not try to fix anything due to the risk of burns.
While the use of sites like Tinkercad and Thingiverse can be a great way to find items that others have already designed for printing, those items may still be subject to copyright protections and are the responsibility of the user.
It is strongly suggested that users create a free account at TinkerCad.com and complete the first four lessons in 3D print design, or have equivalent knowledge of 3D printing, before using the 3D Printing Studio.
Users who do not completely understand the the information contained in this libguide should seek out 3D printing instruction before moving forward with using the 3D Printing Studio. Some instruction may be available through the Library Media Center, but only as staff availability allows and only if it is scheduled in advance.
Please contact Jennifer Galeota to arrange that instruction.
